I am a lifelong resident of Iowa City, and my roots run as deep as my great-grandfather (McCollister; and my mother’s parents: Showers) who settled the land south of town on what is now called Gilbert Street! Growing up with my dad (Leon Cooper) as a master carpenter, when craftsmanship had warmth and charm, I have felt the passion for residential real estate since I was very young. As I continued into my adult years, my education and life experiences in architectural drafting, home construction, and interior design & Feng Shui have helped fuel my enthusiasm to help others with the most major purchase anyone will probably make in their lifetime.

In my career of over a decade I have earned many designations recognized by the National Association of Realtors that include ABR - Accredited Buyers Representative; CRS - Certified Residential Specialist; SRES - Seniors Real Estate Specialist; and RSPS - Resort & Second -Home Property Specialist; and the CNE - Certified Negotiation Expert. I am also a Certified Feng Shui Specialist.
